Capabilities
Sandblasting is a highly efficient process of using media at high pressure to restore and prepare surfaces for new coatings. It ensures new coatings will be applied on a clean, uniform surface that has the best anchor profile for proper adhesion which provides the longest life for your asset’s new coating.
We use Steel Shot Abrasive in our metal cleaning process and own one of the largest blast booths in the greater Central Florida area. Because of this, Unique is capable of handling even the largest steel projects.
Effective
Sandblasting removes mill scale, oil, and rust which tend to form on the surface of the steel parts that have been freshly manufactured.
Economical
The same medium can be used multiple times for the purpose of sandblasting and is thus a reusable asset. This helps bring the cost of the process down and makes it the economical choice.
Detailed
Many other types of harmful surface contaminants are also removed during the process. This includes dirt and oil spots, which can be in hard-to-reach places if you aim to remove the particles using only your hands during the metal surface cleaning process.
Efficient
Manually cleaning the metal surface can be a long, arduous process that requires a great deal of human effort. However, using sandblasting for this purpose can greatly speed up the entire process, and it also requires much less effort on the machine operator.

Unique primarily offers Powder Coating services to our customers because it provides better performance than wet paint. It undergoes thermal bonding during the curing process and can be applied in thicker layers, so it is more resistant to chipping, scratching, and other wear. In addition to its physical toughness, powder coating holds its color much longer.
